[It sure has!!! Hello doctor man, it'll probably be pretty obvious from Nino slumped against Jaffar, with bloody gauze pressed to her left eye, exactly what he's needed for, too!

Nino barely stirs to lift her head, even if she's clearly conscious.

Sorry you don't have any of your fancy operation tools. :(]

[ Well, he means conscious at least. He'll get closer to Nino and Jaffar so he can take a closer look. ]

One question before we do anything, however... Will you be alright with allowing someone with my convictions to help you?

[ Jaffar hasn't spoken to this man before, but he's apparently a doctor of some kind - he doesn't look like a holy man, but whatever. It doesn't matter. He just needs someone that can heal Nino before infection sets in.

[ he... doesn't know what that is, either?! Or how it's possible that he committed a crime, knows that he did so, and yet doesn't remember it... But the fact remains that Nino is injured and this is - as far as he knows - the only doctor on the island.

Jaffar gently detaches himself from Nino and rises from where he was sitting on the bed, nodding once towards Erhard. ]

... Stay close by either way, I might need some assistance.

[ it's... Going to be difficult without his supplies. The most he can do is probably keep it clean and stop the bleeding... Watch for infection, stuff like that. Either way, he'll place a gentle hand on Nino's shoulder. ]

... Good. You've probably went through some shock, tell me how you feel. Also don't be afraid to tell me if you feel light-headed, or anything else abnormal.

[ let's... Remove that gauze and look at that eye. Probably doesn't look pretty, but you know, he has to check just in case if there's any debris or anything.

now, this is mostly to Jaffar since he's floating around, but he needs a hand!! ]

Do we have any fresh gauze, or water by any chance? All I can really do is clean everything and re-bandage it, but it should at least keep it from infection.

[ jaffar's profile doesn't even touch most of the worst things he's done tbh... but he's not about to tell either of them that?! Her plea for help makes his heart ache, and he reaches out delicately to brush her cheek with one hand.

Of course, when the doctor addresses him, he pays attention, responding with a nod. Give him a few seconds, and he'll return to Erhard's side with a roll of gauze from Katara's first aid kit and half a coconut full of water. (They didn't have bowls, okay...) ]

[It's not pretty at all, as one would expect when an eye is gouged out with a knife, and Nino has to fight the urge to look away--she's pretty shamed right now by her own appearance, that's for sure.

But Erhard is helping them...and she knows the importance of letting wounds be looked at by healers, even ones without magic.

So she remains as steady as she can.]

I... it hurts, but... not as much as it did. [Pro..gress??] I feel really tired, though. [And a little sick, honestly, but that's just nausea from everything all at once.]

[ Bless you Jaffar, he'll listen to Nino closely and... Rip off a part of his doctors coat, don't worry he cleaned it! It's clean!! He gotta be creative with what he has... But he's going to use it along with the fresh water to clean whatever stains are left on Nino's face and around her eye. ]

That's good. After a good nights rest you should start feeling a better, it's been a long day, so be sure to rest a lot. When I'm gone make sure she has water to drink too, just in case. Tell your friend over there if you're feeling sick and I can check on you again.

[ hmmm... it's mostly basic stuff, typical things you hear even from people who don't go to a doctor and when you're feeling like crap, but hey.

He'll wrap the fresh gauze around her eye and head. It's really a shame that this is all he can do, but better than an infected eye, right? ]

Let's see... I just want you to be careful, and don't get anything in your eye- don't get your face dirty. So don't... You know, do anything clumsy. Other than that -- I want to keep an eye on it for the next few days, so if you'll allow me to check it nightly to replace the bandages, you should be okay. . . Is that clear?

[ he just nods silently, listening to his words and copying them into his brain for later. Listening to directions is something he's good at, at least.

A lot of these are things he would have told her anyway. Don't run around. Stay in bed and heal. Maybe if someone other than him tells her as much, she'll listen. ]
